Spaghetti Meatballs
1 pounds ground beef
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon oregano
1/2 crushed red chili pepper
1/8 teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon minced garlic
1/2 medium onions, chopped
1/2 bunch cilantro leaves, chopped
1/2 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
1 ( 8 oz) mushrooms, sliced
1 (24 oz) spaghetti sauce
Combine the first eight ingredients; mix well. Shape into 1 inch balls.
In a pan put in the olive oil and brown the meatballs over medium heat. Add the mushrooms
and pour the spaghetti sauce over the meatballs. Increase the heat to medium-high and
wait until it starts bubbling, then reduce to low, cover and cook for 60 minutes.
Yield: 4 to 6 servings
